Kadafi
Basically, Kadafi is a rock and/or roll band with three guys. Aaron Magram is the guitarist and singer, Michael Crowley is the bassist, and Lucas Milligan is the drummer. They are originally from Saugerties, NY, have been playing together for at least ten years, and have recently relocated to New York City for additional attempts at exposure. This all sounds like your typical rock and/or roll, rags-to-possible-riches story.
Unfortunately, the only tools that they are equipped with for this mission are their instruments and their mind-blowingly impressive tunes, err, I mean, good looks. No elaborate stage show (yet), and you better believe that none of these guys have ever passed out blow jobs to any record company executives. Here's an analogy to consider: Kadafi are to blow jobs for record company execs like 7-UP is to caffeine. Never have and never will. Unlike 7-UP, however, Kadafi most certainly does their fair share of caffeine and other drugs, such as crack/cocaine.
So what is their music like? It's what a three guy band, armed with only their instruments, good looks, and crack/cocaine should sound like, of course! "Hard Worker" is from their second "official" album, Sea Of Mosh, for Warriors of Rock records. It's a descent representation of what the band sounds like: musical variation, catchy hooks, and heavy shit. However, because of their penchant for musical variation, "Hard Worker" really isn't a decent representation of what the band sounds like.
If the previously mentioned "Hard Worker" paradox intrigues you, click the web links for a few other ways you can begin your understanding of the rock and/or roll, err, I mean, indie/alternative extravaganza that is Kadafi.
So, in conclusion, and in order to exceed the three-hundred word requirement: KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES. KADAFI RULES.
