Bryan Snyder
Bryan Snyder is a musician from Tucson, AZ. He has played hundreds of shows and released multiple albums through various bands during his 13 year career. His efforts have been heard on local radio as well as on national compilation CDs. Whether he was singing backup vocals, being the front man, playing rhythm guitar, or being the guitarist in a trio, Bryan maintained a steady presence in the local Tucson scene.
After playing in multiple original hard rock bands that frustratingly never seemed to materialize into their full potential, Bryan decided to take control and do an entire recording project by himself. This project would be comprised of only his material. Being solely responsible for everything from musical concept to final inlay designs, recording performance to CD duplication, and studio musician performance to the final mix was extremely stressful. Bryan Snyder's Underbelly is the rewarding 17 track result of 11 months (August 2003-June 2004) of his hard work and dedication to his music. The genres of songs throughout Underbelly vary from hard rock to folk to acoustic rock.
Bryan plans to enter the studio again in late 2005 to begin recording his follow-up to Underbelly. The songs already slated for the next effort sound much darker in theme and tend to venture more outside of standard rock 4:4 timing.
ABOUT THE SONG
"Spackle" is about the demise of a friendship with one-side trying to salvage and resolve an issue, while the other side, egotistical and infallible, just wants to fight about it. Patience rarely outlasts an ego. Unfortunately, "Spackle" outlasted a friendship.
