Hypersolid
Hypersolid (noun) – (A) a figure [as a hyper-cube] in hyperspace that corresponds to a solid in ordinary three-dimensional space. (B) A solid object consisting of more than three dimensions.
Hypersolid formed in 2002 with a clear, and defined purpose: to be a razor sharp, lethal metal machine. Having started from the ashes of a previous project, the members forged ahead at full speed. After a line-up change that brought in a new drummer, and a second guitar player, the band started playing two, three gigs per week, sometimes two shows a day. The level of dedication has risen to a point that is nothing short of dizzying, and the newest dimension of Hypersolid has finally taken shape.
Combining gutwrenching and unique harmonized guitar riffs, massive drumming, orchestrated bass, and a vocalist that runs the gaps between Geoff Tate, Phil Anselmo, and some things yet unheard in the genre, it's only a matter of time until the evolution spreads.
Hypersolid creates an aggressive, unique, and intense experience that leaves a strong and lasting impression. The songs are punishing, intelligent, diverse, and purely original.
Recently, the band has finished it's debut five-song EP Inertia with well known producer/engineer Zeuss of Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, God Forbid, and Sworn Enemy fame. With the new disc at the ready, the show schedule at full tilt, and the songwriting continuously evolving, growing, and becoming a living, breathing entity, Hypersolid will soon become a testament to the next evolution in the world of underground metal. The future incubates in the present, and it's name is Hypersolid.
