Hyatari is an experiment in heavy. Traditional verse/chorus arrangements are replaced with waves of hypnotic, multi-layered guitar and bass feedback. Slow, dark and dense, Hyatari's mix of Doom, Noise, Psychedelic, and Industrial goes far beyond the boundaries of typical Doom Metal to create a haunting, sometimes challenging listen. While incorporating oppressively heavy riffs, a wide range of samples and orchestral-like passages, Hyatari also delve into unpredictable, dynamic compositions.
The results can be heard on the band's first recording, 2004's self produced and engineered The Light Carriers - an unremitting, monolithic dirge that continually mutates, deconstructs and reassembles itself.
