Torque

Torque originated in 2000 with guitarist Gerald Federico. In 2002, after a few lineup changes, the band locked themselves inside their home studio and recorded their first album with their original singer. Upon completion, they played out relentlessly to build up their name and sell the CDs which Gerry and the boys had worked so hard on, but something was missing. Early in 2003, bass blaster Lenny introduced Gerry to a singer from his side project. Vocalist Ken took Gerry's unique guitar styling and created an entirely different sound without actually changing the music. In less than five months with the new lineup and sound, Torque is back on the scene, rocking audiences and clubs like never before.

Torque's newest release is a self-produced, three-song demo CD. Enlisting the aid of Boston-based drummer, Bryan Bales, this recording is a triptych of power and aggression. Torque performs in and around the New England area and can currently be seem performing as part of the Emergenza Festival.
