Throttlerod
A potent mix of Coors Light, BBQ, Southern heritage, and American hard rock, Throttlerod is leading a revival. In late summer of 2003, Throttlerod will release their second album, Hell and High Water, and stomp it into listenersears. Musically, this is a more distilled, yet manic depressive Throttlerod where the highs are high and the lows are low. This what Throttlerod was meant to be: Crushingly heavy, a solid backbone, and no apologies. The title, Hell And High Water, alone describes the band's last two years involving two member changes, unemployment, constant van problems, and a relocation to Richmond, VA that both saved the band and added more pressure. Upon the album's release, there's no turning back ... no jobs, no family time, no social life, just hard touring, plain and simple. Total conquest of the U.S. and Europe, on any stage, be it a house party or Madison Square Garden, Throttlerod will bring you what they want, what you want, most importantly, what you need.
