The Ends

After three highly sucessful singles on Pelado Records, Mortville Records, and Super Secret Records, The Ends bring us their debut full length! While forming around two years ago with ex-members and current members of such Austin bands as The Commies, Ritchie Whites, Teen Cool, and the Materialistics, The Ends have quickly risen to headlining status in Austin. That's no easy task in a city that has a shitload of great bands and a ton of clubs! The three singles gained the band great press, making top 10 list and gaining a world-wided fanbase at the sametime! The Ends just recently finished a successful West Coast tour including dates with bands such as the Briefs, Minds, and Distraction, all of Dirtnap Records. While comparisons have been made to such modern bands as the Stitches, The Ends lean more to that pop edge of such classics as The Boys, Generation X, and SLF. All bands that have been mentioned while reviewing the earlier singles. The Ends may be influenced by the original bands of 77 punk, but they are very much a band of the 21st Century and have fit well on a variety of bills with various different bands.
