The Browns

Horribly infectious hooks splattered on a wall of gritty guitar, assaulted with bass and beaten to a pulp with rock hard drumming: That is what The Browns sound like. Dawning their ballaclavas to hide their identities while they unleash a wave of mass chaos, The Browns are rising to the forefront of rock 'n' roll after evading public life and superstar infamy for over four years.

Like the B movie terror that fuels their appetite for domination, The Browns may be taken with a dose of humor but double up on the lithium 'cause their music will haunt you. Fronted by the cocky and infectious vocals of Charlie Brown, the Browns clan currently consists of Fast Eddie Brown on guitars, Sir James Brown on bass, Cleveland Brown on drums, and the illustrious Brownie in charge of managing their road antics. Lawyer Rudy Lee Brown employed Brownie after a local television personality sued The Browns for assaulting him on live air during their appearance on the local breakfast show. No strangers to danger are these boys.

Salutes go to the retired Browns members (who made it out alive): Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Downtown Freddy Brown, and ODB Brown. All three musical geniuses and former band brawlers are living the good life in undisclosed locations. A word to the wise: If you see a man wearing a ski mask in your neighborhood, stay away. He is either a robber or a member of The Browns.

Currently wreaking havoc throughout Wisconsin, The Browns have written a new album to follow up their debut Greatest Hits Volume One on Meter Records (www.meterrecords.com) and will be appearing in the new Tony Hawk video game Tony Hawk's Underground (www.activision.com).
