Ironhead
Ironhead, a flashy, trashy and nasty hard rockin' power trio hailing from Virginia Beach, VA, USA debut their own unique brand of high energy rock n' roll by infusing '60s garage rock with '70s punk and '80s hard rock. Ironhead does this in a way that not only should make fans of such well loved bands as Guns N' Roses, Motörhead, The Dead Boys, Mötley Crüe, Radio Birdman, L.A. Guns, Kiss, Hanoi Rocks, AC/DC and The Stooges happy but also fans of The Music Machineand The Litter should be pleased as well. Ironhead is full of heavy riffs, psychotic guitar solos, and pile-driving beats. This unique blend of musical roots helps them to be a step ahead of the pack as they draw their influences from a healthy and diverse pool of real rock n' roll. Very important, in this day and age, when a band is really only as good as it's roots!
Ironhead's very first album, which was recorded at Homebrew studio in scenic New Jersey, was gloriously engineered by Kevin Lacatena and produced by Sal Canzonieri of Electric Frankenstein and should be released sometime in 2004!
