Jesus and the Devil
Jesus and the Devil are a four-piece rock and roll band from the blue-collar south side of Chicago. Together they combine their eclectic musical backgrounds to produce a sound that is hailed by the Illinois Entertainer as "...a hellish noise that sounds fresh from an oil-stained garage." Formed in 2001, the band has applied the diligent work ethic associated with the City of Chicago to their music and live show giving them the opportunity to regularly play at well-respected venues in their hometown such as the Double Door, Empty Bottle, Bottom Lounge, and Metro. For the past two years, Jesus and the Devil have also taken their "...social commentary cased in odd time signatures and lush melodies" (UR Chicago) on the road by touring relentlessly throughout the Midwest.
