Cadaveria
Cadaveria on the album:
"The album has been recorded at the C.pt Woofer Studios of Saluggia (Vercelli - Italy) again, planning the job in a traditional way, in order to maintain an imprint of sound heavy-rock, but with the most advanced technologies in comparison to those used for The Shadows' Madams, to get a cleaner sound. In fact, a crystalline but powerful recording characterizes mainly Far Away From Conformity. The takes on tape have been entirely bounced on computer to mix with digital technologies, to get a fluid and highly professional result. The mix on PC has facilitated besides the manipulation of the sounds and the participation to the arrangements. From the phase of composition to the recording one we worked in a relaxed atmosphere and had a good time, not burdened by temporal pressures or commercial ties. The songs are the result of a composition job developed by Cadaveria, that has recorded on a walkman the carrying melodies and wrote the texts, and by Frank Booth and Marçelo Santos, that with her in the rehearsal room cared on each single riffs and gave form to the songs. Killer Bob's contribution has been fundamental in phase of recording, mixing, and choice of the sounds. Keyboards and samplings absent following the quit from the group of Baron Harkonnen, that left the band a few months ago to devote himself to his project DyNAbyte (in which also John and Cadaveria play. Debut album within the end of 2003!). The mastering of Far Away From Conformity will happen in Sweden, at the Masterings Room. Enjoy the album! See you soon!"
