Spark of Life

Spark of Life is a four-piece band hailing from a Los Angeles suburb of sunny Southern California. Formed in late 1999 with a goal of having fun and writing music they would like to listen to, Spark of Life combines a hardcore edge with a great sense of melody and almost infectious hooks that will leave you wanting more. With positive lyrics and an intense live show, "The Spark" was soon creating a buzz with a large underground following and making many friends with already established acts who could not help but notice them. It would not be long before one of these performances would catch the eye of the head A & R man at Lorelei Records. After almost a year of courtship, Lorelei Records sent Spark of Life in to record their debut full length record, aptly titled Promises Made. Promises Kept. Taking over the producing duties was none other than Russ Rankin (lead singer of Good Riddance). The result is a record that seamlessly covers many genres, while at the same time, keeping a sound that is uniquely their own. Integrity and ambition intact, Spark of Life is ready to share their music with the world. Spark of Life, as a whole, does not support any one way of thinking politically, morally, theologically, or otherwise. They are simply four individuals who are best friends and love to play music.
