The Cocktail Revisionists

"High-energy alternative pop, on the rocks, with a twist!"

Formed in 1999 as an outgrowth of the power trio Blockhead, The Cocktail Revisionists play a high-energy brand of alternative rock. We have combined old-school pop sensibilities with new-school energy to create a sound that is both unique and familiar.

Anchored by the sexy-cool vocals of Leslie Kooy, this Seattle band pays homage to many eclectic influences (punk, pop, rock, folk, jazz), yet creates a cohesive, timeless sound that is a fresh counterpoint to the predictable, over-commercialized sounds of today's pop music.

Listen closely and you will hear many influences: Cracker, X, Bob Mould, REM, Aimee Mann, The New Pornographers, the Stranglers and even some Beatles thrown in for good measure.

mp3 Track: "Heisenberg's A Jerk"
