Tunnel Rats

In a constant alcoholic and drug-addled haze since 1993, the Tunnel Rats are still managing to wave the flag of the "Live Free or Die" state of New Hampshire with, frankly, disturbing vigor. Captain Leech, Duke Crevanator, B-Face, and Bernie’s latest effort is a split 10-inch with Italy’s infamous BDSM freaks the Nerds. This re-mix (actually it’s a near "no mix") is slightly different from the version that appears on the record. Either way, like all Tunnel Rats songs, it focuses on one of their three main obsessions. In this case, fucking as many girls as possible, preferably in the ass. (The other two topics being guns and getting fucked up.) Having played, and been subsequently banned from, the vast majority of the clubs they have befouled, consider yourself lucky if you hear of a Tunnel Rats show in your town.

With a re-release of their 26-song CD Our War is Never Over (with seven new songs) planned for 2003, along with an entire new album in 2003 as well, it appears that the Tunnel Rats aren’t going away any time soon. There are plenty of PC nazis that are very unhappy to hear this, I’m sure. Ah well, as Ric Flair has often said "Learn to like it!"
