The Same Page
Formed in Newark, Delaware in 2000, The Same Page features Dan Gonzalez, Jeremy Difilippo, Chris Jones, and Sean Smith. Their members are involved with the bands: Six More Miles, Smilee, Milkwood, Downfall, and Efervescent Johnny. The band draws similarities to power punk bands such as Small Brown Bike, Cursive, and Hey Mercedes. They have performed with The Boils, Super Hi Five, Hokkaido Concern, A Year To Forget, The Switch, A Step Above, Six South, Vacant Progress, Tom Martin, Queen V, The Common, Engine Orange, amongst others. The Same Page performs regularly at The Barn Door in Wilmington, DE and The French Quarter in Lancaster, PA. The band got their start at The East End Cafe in Newark and have also played at The Grape St. Pub and The Pontiac Grille in Philadelphia. The band recorded 7 songs in February of 2001 @ Target Recording Studios and 6 more @ The Creep House Of Recording in June of 2002. A full-length CD, tentatively titled What Is That You Breathe? is expected to be self-released in January of 2003. An unreleased song titled "Customary" will be on the new Skratch magazine compilation being released later this month.
