Brick Bath
Since the bands inception in 1996, Brick Bath has been one of Southern Californias major contenders within the power-groove/thrash metal community. Formerly known as Epitaph, the band quickly gained public interest, which caught the attention of Chainsaw Records president, Woody Barber. The band worked out an agreement with Chainsaw Records and went directly into the studio to record their debut album entitled Scarred. Shortly after mixing the record, the label folded, leaving the band to wonder what was going to become of all their hard work. To keep the bands energy positive and not dwell on the demise of Chainsaw Records, they decided to go on tour. Playing to packed houses and enthusiastic audiences night after night, they co-headlined shows with such national acts as Stuck Mojo, Testament, Forbidden, Flotsam and Jetsam, Crowbar, and Exodus as well as numerous local acts. The band released their debut album, I Wont Live The Lie, for Crash Music in 2001 to rave reviews.
Now Brick Bath are taking over the U.S. again by delivering their crushing new CD release on Crash Music Inc. titled Rebuilt. With the successful 2002 release of their debut album, the San Diego, CA band scorched US metal radio with over 70 adds their first week out as well as charting on Album Network, FMQB, CMJ, and maintaining regular rotation on Music Choice and XM Satellite Radio. The band toured the U.S. in 2002 including appearances at the Milwaukee Metalfest, Metal Meltdown Festival, and the Abrasive Rock Festival and already has U.S. tour dates booked solid starting in February through the summer of 2003. They will be performing songs from their new CD live on XM Satellite Radios "Liquid Metal" Show on April 14th, 2003.
