Bottom Line
Cincinnati, Ohios Bottom Line is fresh, energetic, hard working, and as their debut full length CD In and Out of Luck shows, they have already made themselves an explosive force in punk rock. Their sound is upbeat, catchy, and is characterized by the two great vocalists that give them so much promise. What sets them apart from every other good-looking pop punk band out there is the raw rock edge that creeps in subtly with a guitar squeelie here and a china cymbal there. The band spent a lot of time on the road in 2002, including seven attention-getting dates on the Vans Warped Tour. After quickly selling almost 3000 copies of their new record, December of 2002 found the band on tour in Japan opening for MCA artist Midtown.
In and Out of Luck was released in October, 2002 on Nice Guy Records. Look for Bottom Line on tour again in 2003, including an East Coast tour in spring and a large chunk of the Warped Tour in the summer.
"
incredibly talented and tight-fast-slick punk power machine. Each song makes you want to scream of pleasure and played it louder and louder. This is not a cheesy emo-pop-punk band; this is the real deal." (Caustic Truths Issue 88)
"This band is still in their "rawer period," which mostly is synonym to "better." Theres not a calmer moment on this disc, its energy-packed from start to finish." (PunkUpdates.com)
"Bottom Line has taken pop punk back and theyre running with it!" (PunkInternational.com)
