Toxic Narcotic

Toxic Narcotic formed out of Boston, MA in the summer of 1989 as a three piece with Bill Damon on bass and vocals, Will Sullivan on guitar and vocals, and Kevin Barnello on drums. Eventually, Bill took over lead vocals and after a few minor adjustments; the current line-up was reached with the addition of Ben Upton on bass and Sam Jodrey on drums.

They formed the band with the intent of mixing their favorite elements of punk, hardcore, and metal into an original sound with some intelligent lyrics. This mix of brutal HC/punk with extremely energetic shows has created a large local following of people from all the genres of punk, hardcore and metal. They have been doing this for over ten years and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Aside from extensive east coast shows and short tours, TN has toured the past eight years, including four full independent U.S. tours, a European tour, and five additional tours on the West Coast, from Seattle to Tijuana, playing with every band imaginable and in every conceivable location. They have gained a large underground following, and can fill small clubs across Europe and the USA.

Boston’s longest standing DIY band, TN has self-released all of their material from the very beginning on Rodent Popsicle Records, a label formed in ’94 by the members of TN. Rodent Popsicle Records has grown to be the largest punk label in New England and is about to put out its 50th release which happens to be a Toxic Narcotic "singles collection" CD. They are now releasing a new full-length on Go-Kart Records in the summer of 2002!
