Park is from Springfield, Illinois. They’ve been around the local scene and people are happy with them. This current incarnation is the second major version of Park, sort of like Park 2.0.

Park plays music to save themselves, they try to escape a growing divide between the holders of new technology and those who work with the Earth. Park is a modern rock interpreter of the American Dream. The music of Park is large but the songs remain humble, natural tunes crafted as if from the variety of nature. The lyrics of Park reflect jeweled facets of thought, they state the hidden world with grace. Hard, soft, colorful, plain – each song true to itself. Songs they play refuse to leave the head long after Park is gone, they are catchy without being hooky.

In Autumn 2001, Lobster Records will release Park’s debut CD/LP, No Signal. This album ranges over themes of self-discovery, love and things to come, produced by Cameron Webb (Lit, Aquabats, Dynamite Boy) the album develops a rich sound which supports Park’s sense of song.

Park is currently touring somewhere because they need to, they also need to play for you. Park has your best interest in mind when they say "listen."
