Bonescrew
"Dark, heavy and as cheerful as a rainy day."
These words describe Boston's latest entry into the Metal scene, Bonescrew.
The name alone conjures images of pain, suffering, brutality, and their music is the appropriate soundtrack to such images. Incorporating elements of Industrial Metal, Hardcore, Doom and Goth, Bonescrew has created a unique and menacing sound. Equally as menacing as their music are the four men responsible for it. They would be singer/guitarist Steven Flynn, bassist Dan Kelly, drummer Max and keyboardist Keith Starkweather who came together to form Bonescrew in October of 2000.
No strangers to the Boston scene, Flynn was the front man for Boston Thrash Metal band Subjugator and Max played with ex-members of Meliah Rage as well as with Joe Stump, Bonescrew immediately started playing area shows just a month after forming
