Modena

These guys really like Alice in Chains. So do I. So does Godsmack, the world's most popular tribute band. But Modena is a new, young band from Raleigh, North Carolina, not a genius, tragically-addicted band from Seattle in 1990 that CREATED the style cuz that's simply the way it came out when they played. Sure, I'd rather listen to this than the Creed or Nickleback knock-offs, but I'd really rather listen to a band express themselves, lyrically and musically. Hopefully with passionate/aching harmonies and mean chops, like Modena hint at having on their own.
