Mock Orange

Captain Love (Wednesday)
by Scott Hefflon

Tim loved these guys (and booked them, and toured with them), even though they quoted Tiger Beat, er, Alternative Press in their bio, but that's the way shit is. This isn't my kinda "quirky indie rock" thing, but seeing as I respect former labels Silverthree and Lobster for putting out good stuff that'll never catch on with the mainstream (except for Yellowcard being on Lobster originally, but let's let that one slide), and they had a record produced by J. Robbins, well, I'll trust that all of them understand why this band is worth listening to so I don't have to. I trust them, so if they back 'em, I'll back 'em.

This is not a review, really, just a lil preview blurb. See more previews here.
