Sirhan Sirhan

Blood (Anodyne)
by Scott Hefflon

First full-length by Midwest transplants, now making a racket in San Diego. Produced by The Bronx's Joby J. Ford, this weirdo/distorto rampage sounds great, not too slick, kinda like what you always hoped Rollins Band would sound like. Howler Jason Blackmore was in a band called Molly McGuire (on Epic, I missed 'em entirely) and has performed with Melvins, Jesus Lizard, and Girls Against Boys. It's rare a bio can compare a band to Butthole Surfers, and I don't plan a daytrip to go kick their asses. So yeah, this is a find. Get 'em on the mp3 CD and share the ear damage.
