Wolves (Ascetic)
by Tim Den

Norman, OK's Zeppelin-meets-Crimson titans Traindodge have been at the game for quite a while, so it's not surprise that Wolves is the band's most streamlined, cohesive, and addictive record to date. Taking their past penchant for off-timing, angularity, and Dischord vocals to the car wash for a brightening up, the results are the most accessible material these guys have ever written. Chunky as Shiner, groovy as Riddle of Steel, anthemic as classic rock, and convincing like the heyday of American hardcore. Highly recommended.
