Man Faye Gallery

by Chad Van Wagner

Goddamnit.

Occasionally, I'm on the receiving end of a reminder that technology fails us. All this advancement, all this effort, all this endless pushing forward, and for what? Like a newly-shattered war widow, I am forced to deal with the reality of a desperate, ugly situation. I have seen Man Faye.

Now, from what I've gathered, Faye is a popular character in something called "cosplay," a vaguely adult undertaking involving hot women dressing up for roleplay. Alas, as you may be able to ascertain from the title, this activity is no longer limited to women.

OK, fair enough. Why should women get all the fun? But fuck me running, did THIS guy have to be the one to break the barrier? Faye wears skimpy clothes, and this guy is no stranger to cheeseburgers. He sorta looks like the Afghan Whigs' Greg Dulli, if Greg Dulli were very, very gay. And liked to dress up as a Japanese schoolgirl. And had no shame. Or, apparently, access to Nair. This dude has a serious case of Wookie ass going on, and Faye's outfit isn't exactly bulky.

It is impossible, the saying goes, to unring a bell. So I must learn to live with Man Faye as a permanent part of my psyche. Poor, poor pitiful me.
