The Thieves

The White Line EP (Liquor and Poker)
by Craig Regala

"You Get it Easy" is a catchy tune more'r less based on Bowie's "Heroes," which is a good one to lift, especially when using "new wavy" rock vocals (Bono, The Alarm guy) and a stripped-down nu-garage push. This record woulda got play in Boston in the mid-'80s between locals Scruffy The Cat and Del Fuegos. Too bad they didn't cover something off The Cult's Love. That certainly would be "something" for the over-40s to relate to.
