A Perfect Murder

Unbroken (Victory)
by Adrian Bromley

In this day and age, a lot of bands are making the best with what they've got and what they know. Granted, not every band who stumbles into the hardcore/metal scene is going to make an impact right off the bat - trust me, I've got hundreds of albums stored on my shelves to prove it - but you've to give credit to those who aim to make some sort of dent. While the music for A Perfect Murder's debut, Unbroken, can best be described as "typical" and/or "generic," the hard-driving strides of metallic goodness peppered throughout the album helps pump some intensity into the mix, leaving the listener on edge just enough to take note.
