Black Cross

Art Offensive (Equal Vision)
by Adrian Bromley

Louisville, Kentucky's Black Cross are a band on a mission: To rock out. On Art Offensive, their glorious debut for Equal Vision, the band does just that, and then some. With a truly unique flare for meshing punk rock attitude and hard rock know-how, Black Cross take no time in getting to the heart of it. Smart, fast songs come at us with such a rapid-fire pace (12 songs, 26 minutes) and the band rarely comes to a stand-still. Black Cross always have their fists pumping and the amps turned up nice and loud, just like rock 'n' roll should be played.
