Tsunami Bomb

The Invasion from Within! (Tomato Head)
by Scott Hefflon

A mere six-songs from Tsunami Bomb just isn't enough! A pretty new band with only a couple 7"s and comp tracks beneath their belts, this EP oughtta stir up some serious interest and hopefully get the band back in the studio "toot sweet." With manic paces, female lead vocals and harmonies, a sci-fi/b-movie fetish, and an eerie funhouse keyboard lurking in every song, you know yer getting a new spin on an old theme here, and all your comparisons are straw-grasping flailings. If you think of Tilt and Dance Hall Crashers, you have a couple of the points of interest, but there's just too much going on to want to categorize it. Check these guys'n'girls out now so you can claim you were into them from the get-go.
