The Milwaukees

The Bland Comfort of Life with Lloyd Justin (24/7)
by Tim Den

The Milwaukees have always been top-notch indie melody-makers, but this new EP finds them harder in delivery and more textured in composition. With an added guitarist and a new drummer, the band can now afford to let loose a bit more in terms of energy and vocal delivery. They scream more convincingly, have better dual-guitar interaction, and use the expanded roster to widen the scope of their melodies. The Milwaukees just keep getting better and better.
