Kittie

Paperdoll EP (Ng)
by Scott Hefflon

Contains the radio remix of "Paperdoll" and live versions of Spit's "Spit," "Brackish," "Suck," "Do You Think I'm a Whore?," "Raven," and the video of "Charlotte." The video, by the way, really shows the appeal of the band and puts the song in a much better context than the dismissive "young, Gothy-looking Canadian chicks alternately blinking slowly for the camera in moody lighting and rocking out to simple 'groove' riffs any first-year guitarist could master." They give hope to young girls and hard-ons to young guys, and I'll bet after all the touring they've done, they've learned a few more chords to pound away on.
