Right Direction

Bury the Hatchet (Victory)
by Tim Den

Thou art a better man than I if you can tell these two bands apart. Run Devil Run and Right Direction are both straight-up hardcore bands that site the classics as influences, which begs the question "Why duplicate what's already been done better?" Right Direction might have a better excuse in that they've been doing this since '89, but still, classic Suicidal Tendencies and D.R.I. they ain't. You get the trademark hardcore stuff here, nothing more: scream, growl, fastbeat, breakdown mosh part, heavy guitar sound. Oh, and Run Devil Run has members of In Cold Blood, Brother's Keeper, and The Spudmonsters, if that means anything to you.
