Duane Peters and the Hunns

Unite (Disaster)
by Scott Hefflon

U.S. Bomb vocalist, Duane Peters, is one of the more recognizable voices in old-school punk, and while I always think I like whatever he does, I never remember very much after the CD stops. Not that the songs aren't catchy, not that they don't have all the riffs and group sing-a-longs you'd expect from bare-bones anthemic punk, it just has no staying power. While plenty of people'll like Unite just fine, a new collection of songs from one of their faves, those people are probably predisposed to like Duane anyway.
